Because Why started in a philosophy classroom.

A professor would share an unconventional idea, pause, and then ask, “Because why?” It wasn’t a request for quick answers. It was an invitation to slow down and examine the assumptions shaping our thinking.

Meet Pancho

I’m an ICF-credentialed coach with a foundation in economics, philosophy, and positive psychology. I’ve built and supported growth-stage startups, worked in the outdoor industry, and guided people through literal and metaphorical ropes courses.

My work lives at the intersection of self-awareness and performance. I help professionals and teams develop the relational intelligence, clarity, and judgment that allow them to navigate complexity without losing themselves in the process.

I’m as comfortable in a hard conversation as I am halfway up a granite wall in the Sierra Nevada. Both demand presence, trust, and a willingness to lean into difficult questions.
